We are 5 members strong so far! If you’re in the Wichita area, would you like to join? Monthly meetups on alternative health and energy practices for Moms, Dads and Carers. We’ll share useful information on the blog too.
First meeting date will be posted later this week…subject…homeopathy.
As some of you know, this blog is dedicated to my mum, who passed away this summer. She used to repeat the saying ‘The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world’. Do you want to become an informed consumer about your children’s health and wellness? Do you want to learn more for yourself about gentle, safe, drug-free treatments for your children? Do you think that integrative medicine needs to be part of our families’ futures, but not sure how you can influence that outcome? Then this group might just be for you.
Meetups will be in a structured format and focus on information sharing and practical experience. Anyone who has specific information on a given subject before a meeting is encouraged to contact me first so that we can add useful links and knowledge to meetup handouts ahead of time. Then feel free to share your stories during the meetup and others can benefit from your experiences!
If you think you’d like to offer a subject for a group, and speak on it, step up! You can work with me ahead of time and I’ll show you how to format what you have into useful and memorable material for everyone attending.
In the longer term run I aim to invite guest speakers from specialist areas also. I already have contacts with a really talented group of people in the acupuncture community here in Wichita. If there are any alternative practitioners out there who are reading this blog and would like to guest at a meeting, let me know. Also, any members or friends of members who know of a great practitioner that they would like to share with the group, again, let me know!
Click on this Moms On A Spiritual Journey Meetup Link to join the Meetups Group, email me or simply continue to read more on this blog to keep in touch with what we’ll be doing. You can follow on Facebook too at the Mom On A Spiritual Journey page. Remote ‘Like’ ers of this page, contact me too if you’re interested…after the meetings I can post PDFs of useful information you can download and use. It’s my intention that we create a model with this group and get it working well enough for Spiritual Moms in other parts of the country to do the same!
C’mon Spiritual Moms, let’s rock!
